Jessica with Elevated Events of Virginia helped us with partial event planning for our wedding in April 2016. We hired the vendors ourselves, but she gave invaluable advice on how to search for vendors and what questions we should ask. Once our vendors were hired, Jessica did such an amazing job with the logistics of it all and communication with everyone. She helped us with timelines, budgets, floor plans, and details we didn’t even anticipate. It seems so effortless and second nature for her. On the day of the wedding one vendor specifically commented on how organized and helpful her day-of information was. On a more personal side, Jessica was very good at taking my vague ideas and helping to form a vision of what I wanted for my wedding. She was always encouraging and if particular ideas wouldn’t work with certain vendors, or if she had an idea she thought may work better, she was always extremely respectful of everyone involved and worked to create a solution that would accommodate all.

Jessica was AMAZING. We hired her as a day-of coordinator, and I have no idea what would have happened without her. She is so nice, patient, super organized, quick to respond to everything, and details!! She was ON IT with the details!! I also had a really great time working with her in general. She's just a fun, easy person to be around. During the week before and on the day of, she was awesome at fielding last minute questions and requests for me so I could just party it up with everyone visiting. She's awesome. Can't say enough. Hire this talented woman.

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Since each event is different, I do customize pricing to better suit the needs of that particular client. However, as a general guideline, Day-Of Wedding Planning Services start at $1,650 and Birthday Party/Anniversary/Holiday Parties/Etc. vary based on event.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every client is in a different stage of the event planning process and needs assistance with tackling different tasks. Once an interest in Elevated Events of Virginia is established, then I meet with each client for a complimentary consultation to discover their needs and personalities. From that meeting, I will create a customized package to best suit their needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the James Madison University School of Hospitality with a degree in Hospitality Management. I also became a Certified Wedding Planner through The Bridal Society.
