- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I first meet a new customer I am interested in who they are, what story they desire to tell, and building a fun, trusting relationship. Typically my clients have a story or an idea in mind, so it is my goal to learn every detail I can, to ensure it comes to life on screen, just like you imagined. Once the vision has been established, I spend time researching different looks, shooting styles, cameras, lightning, ETC. I will then write up a proposal explaining; - What equipment and crew may be needed for this project (Often times extra crew isn't needed) - How much time said project will take, and when I believe we shoot begin filming. - Production begins. We then edit and deliver. Do to a lot of work being done upfront, as well as, any needed gear rentals, or talent hires, I do ask for 1/3 of the asking price up front, 1/3 when filming begins, and 1/3 when the final product has been delivered. If more edits need to be performed, I will typically do 1 -2 sessions pending the depth of changes needed. Beyond that I may discuss the need to extend funs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended film school and received my degree in Motion Picture Television Production. I have been working professionally on a wide variety of projects really enhancing my skills as a filmmakers. I have held an internship and jobs with production companies, news stations, and business. Through all these experiences I have gained a great deal of knowledge regarding the entire Production Process.
