FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I focus on putting the utmost time and effort into your event while charging a very competitive rate. I have a main job, and this isn't just my side job, it's my passion. I don't need to do this, but I do it because it makes me happy to perform music and entertain others, plus I know I was born for music. Once you give me your expectations and what you're willing to spend, I can let you know what I can do your event for. I work with everyone, no matter what your situation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by asking a few things about them and what they're excited about making happen with their event. We always go over the overall musical vibe desired and specific songs the customer wants. Some customers ask me to do custom mixes and just give me guidelines and a couple songs. I typically put 20 hours or more into the preparation of just the mixes (I don't charge for many of those hours because that prep time is what makes my events unforgettable).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Since I was a kid I was setting up instruments and sound, mixing live bands and operating lights starting at my church. After a short Army service, I got back to DJing for friends and family. I've played in 4 bands, worked for a stagehand company setting up large tours and even make my own music.
