We are dedicated to the care of your pet and to maintaining the privacy and security of your home while you are away. Each pet and each client is important and we strive to provide excellent care, each pet, each visit. Kathy takes such great care of my cat, Gracie! I have been a client of While the Cat's Away for many years, and wouldn't trust my pet to anyone else. Kathy tends to all of Gracie's needs, including feeding her, cleaning her litter, and spending lots of time playing with her. She even sends me texts with photos and updates! She also does non-pet tasks such as bringing in the mail, packages, and newspapers, and making sure the house is safe and secure while we're away. Kathy is a pet lover, and has owned many pets throughout her lifetime, so I know I can trust her experience. You won't go wrong with Kathy, and can trust her to take excellent care of your pets. I have used Kathy's pet sitting service for years. She is dependable and probably treats my cat better than I do. I never hesitate to turn to her when I need a pet sitter. Highly recommended. I'm sure my cat would agree.

Kathy has been caring for our Japanese Koi, our home, mail, trash service for several years. Whenever we have been away and our pond pump has gone on the blitz while we were gone, she called and followed directions to get the pump started again! She takes loving care of our Koi. She is very responsible and reliable. I would recommend her in a heartbeat!

While the Cat's Away Pet Sitting has been caring from my critters for many, many years. I travel with my job several times every month. Even after being gone on a long trip, it is clear that my critters have been well taken care of!

Kathy is wonderful! She really cares about the pets. In addition to feeding my cat and cleaning the litter box at each visit, she spends extra time playing with her, which I appreciate.
