FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If the customer is a buyer, my full professional services are basically free since commissions in almost every transaction are paid for by the seller of a property. If the customer is a seller, we have a simple, variable rate commission structure they can choose from based on what services they select. But regardless of which rate they choose, my clients will ALWAYS get the same service and professional standards and ethics!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If a Buyer, we meet at our offices (311 S. Harrington St, Suite 100) in Raleigh. I listen to understand their needs and wants. I have a brief presentation that explains my process for helping a buyer, the process of getting pre-approved for a mortgage, finding a home, making an offer, negotiating to contract, all the way through the closing and dealing with any post-closing issues that may arise. If a Seller, I prefer to meet at their home. We start by discussing their specific situation - why they are selling, when they need to sell, and what they love most about their house. I then present a marketing presentation, showing the full and unique ways I professionally market their home and get them the highest level of exposure possible. Then we discuss various questions they have and lay out the next steps to list and market their home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My college degree is in the arts. I am an educator myself and believe that I will be a student the rest of my life. So every year I've been in real estate I have taken advantage of every training I possibly could. One of the most challenging and helpful was the highest level training offer by ERA - Top Gun Real Estate Academy.
