We brought our very wild border collie puppy, Max, to Pawsitive Principles for puppy training thinking this would be quite the sports challenge for Bree. We were amazed at how quickly she was able to gain Max's trust and attention. At the second class, Bree was able to teach Max to lie down, using no words or treats, only her eyes, in about 15 seconds. I was shocked (and lost a bet) to say the least. Classes were run with logical progression. Training was tailored to each dog in the class based on their current abilities. Both dogs and owners had a lot of fun. Bree has the rare ability to understand dogs so she can help owners train their pets in a kind, positive manner which makes it enjoyable for all! I would highly recommend any training at Pawsitive Principles.

I have had the pleasure of working with Bree at Pawsitive Principles with several of my dogs. She has assisted me with private training to work on home based issues as well as group classes. I have utilized her recommendations for a rattlesnake training course for three of my dogs and it was a great life saving experience. I hve also taken her Rally training classes and it is the best training and bonding experience I have had with my dogs. I highly recommend Pawsitive Principles for all types of training as well as dog sport activities. Your four legged friend will also thank you!

The instructors here are knowledgable, approachable, experienced, and committed to helping YOU and your dog. They keep current in positive training and wellness practices. They helped me tailor exercises to meet my training challenges and my dogs always look forward to going to class. The outdoor facility is on grass and large enough to give everyone a chance to move around with their dog in class. If you want a friendly, fun, and experienced training environment...give them a call!

I have known Bree for 9 years and have taken 4 dogs to training classes with her!! She is a very positive trainer and takes the time each animal needs to get to the next level!! Never anything negative to say and never criticizes anyone regardless of wether it's being done correctly or not!! Very patient and it's obvious her work is her passion!!! Have also attended classes at her home with essential oils. Her knowledge continues to grow and she's always answering questions to better help 2 and 4 legged alike!!!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When contactacting us, we take the time to listen to what the problems at hand are, we then talk about what is the best direction to go in your training. Be it group lessons, private training or our stay and train program. Every dog is different, as is each families need.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Our love of animals brought us to where we are today.
