- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge $0.013 cents per word edited. There is a minimum $50 editing cost for small documents - if you have several small documents we can quote them together though.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
EDITING: After approval of the quote amount, if the client requires it we send a contract to sign. Once that is signed, or if the client does not require it, we will then send your document/manuscript to one of our qualified editors. They will appraise how long the work will take for an editing pass, taking into consideration your completion date needs. After this has been given, and everyone agrees, we will invoice. Upon payment of invoice, you will be introduced to the editor who will help you polish up your work. They will input recommended changes or comments within your document which you can then implement. The document is edited, and we have another happy customer! GRAPHIC DESIGN: After approval of the quote amount, if the client requires it we send a contract to sign. Once that is signed, we will invoice. Upon payment of invoice, you will be introduced to the designer who will furnish your work. They will take into account your advice and implement changes until you are satisfied.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our editors all have degrees in writing intensive fields, as well as the relevant work experience. Our graphic designers have stunning portfolios - with art and design the bonafides can be perceived from the works themselves.
