- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$325 for a standard home inspection. add $50 for a termite inspection. add $100 for a Radon test subtract $50 for homes under 1000sq ft.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I ask what concerns you have with the home that you noticed from your initial walk through. After that, we have a conversation about the home inspection itself and what your intentions with the home, long term are. The home inspection is a great opportunity for education and getting yourself familiar with the systems of the home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent 2 years as an electrical apprentice, 4 years in the siding and gutter repair/replacement industry. I have general hands on experience in carpentry and hard wood flooring. I have experience as a remodeling contractor. I attended AHIT's (American Home Inspector Institute) training course. I have passed the American Home Inspector Exam. I am an ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) Inspector. Attended school for Radon measurement training. Passed the national exam for Radon measurement providers. Attended school for non-commercial pesticide applicator for termite inspections. All of these designations and certifications require continuing education that I am current on.
