I would highly recommend Cathy. This was my 1st time using an event planner and she has now spoiled me. I will never plan these type of events on my own again, and will only use her! My daughter was beyond thrilled with how she put together her Sweet 16, and my daughter is extremely hard to please. She delivered on everything we discussed and more. People from the venue where we held this party were peaking their heads in to admire the work she did setting up. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I will work within my clients budget and do my best to make their celebration/home decor/ home organization all that they hoped for it to be. For our first consult I charge $100 ( in person) and $50 (via phone/email/text) My rate per hour for shopping, creating and preparing is $50 an hour, but I always provide my clients with the estimated time I will need after our first consult). Any additional costs- set up, remaining at party, clean up, etc.... once determined with my client is also an hourly charge.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?Event/Party Planning:I started off by planning and decorating for my own children's celebrations and over the past few years I have branched out to planning events and using my creativity to put together centerpieces, table arrangements, favors and more for friends and family.
