- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start off with an initial consultation to gather basic information. From there, we work with the client to understand their preferences and vision for their specific session or shoot. This typically takes place via phone call or email, depending on the client's wishes. When hired, we give the client multiple location options and dates to choose from, based on our initial consultation. If the client already has a desired or set location, we are more than willing to accommodate them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have been working in the photography and film industry for close to a decade of combined time. Breona (Breezy) is professionally trained in photography and graphic design and continues to take classes to further her craft and remain current. David (Smith) has been on both sides of the lens working on many various projects for many years. He continues to learn and grow in the disciplines of film-making and photography.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We wanted to build a business around something we actually enjoyed doing. Being creative and using our imaginations is extremely important to my husband and me. We have always been drawn to art and storytellingmy husband through music, writing, and performing and myself through drawing, painting, and graphic design. When we decided to start Creative Forest, we considered all of these disciplines, and realized they were inspired by one thing: real life. Photography and film allow us to capture what inspires us mostpeople, love, originality, and authenticity happening everydayall around us.
