FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price each job according to certain rates I have established working for other companies. I can charge less than bigger companies as I have less overhead, and my company is less than 1 year old. Before that I ran multiple plumbing and pipefitting companies both in the field for many years and office. I offer discounts to seniors and vets if asked indwelling to match other competitive pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Speak with customer in detail, walk the site to get an idea of what they want or need and what possible options are available (code wise or mechanically). Get a general overview of the job, make a material list, use my pricing app for materials, and calculate the labor or give my flat fee for specific services. My main focus is building a friendly bond with my customers, so they can trust me as well as I can trust them. I feel this is important. I carry alot of high end tools and use the best materials unless customer requests otherwise to save money. Im a perfectionist as this is the way I was taught. Do it once and do it right.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
UA local 364" P.I.P.E". Pipefitter/Plumber Commercial and Residential, General building knowledge. Graduate of Cal State Northridge as well. Graduate of Noritz tankless water heaters technical training certification, as well as Bradford White expert and Bradford training certification. (Noritz makes the best tankless heaters and Bradford the best traditional tank water heater you can buy, and the last tank style unit made in the USA in Michigan). Im certified in Polyethylene (yellow plastic pipe) butt fusion for gas piping as well as socket fusion (Aqua Therm and other pipe types). Im a certified welder though my union hall (stick, tig, mig), as well a programming g-code for CNC/3d printer machine operation but I doubt many people would need that service. I have a minor in electrical engineering, so I deal with micro controllers, logic boards, and build my own acid etched circuit boards (a side business) etc. But if you need help with your computer (Mac and PC), 3d printer, reg printer, modem/router I can sort you out. I worked and was trained by Spectrum for a few years so I do low voltage, hanging flat screens, running RG6 and CAT5/6 cable for your television, modem, or CCTV security cams.
