- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The fees I quote on Thumbtack are just that: quotes. It is difficult to properly quote without knowing the full extent of the clients needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We typically like to request the previous years tax return. We give the new client a unique online portal for them to securely upload this documentation. If geography prohibits the client from coming to my office, we use technology to ensure a proper conversation occurs: Zoom, Ring Central, Email, Text Messages, or Email. Once we have that initial conversation, we request documentation that can be emailed or uploaded online. The process is fair, easy, and sensible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Enrolled Agents are required to take continuing education every year. We are often engaged learning about new tax laws as well as different software, business ideas, planning ideas, etc to assist our clients in all aspect of their personal and/business lives.
