David has a real talent for capturing the essence of the books he is tasked with creating covers for. It would seem he researches each genre of book, notes common aspects of the covers, and makes a cover that will appeal to the audience of each genre. He also follows directions well. Purchases of my books went up dramatically with his book covers versus my old ones--and the sales have more than made up for the costs of his artistic covers. I highly recommend David as a cover artist. His talents will obviously take him beyond mere cover design, but it is what I hired him for and all I feel qualified to review him on. Talented artist at a great price. If your work is good, the a new cover might just be what you need to get noticed.
