- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am in my last semester at the University of Nevada, Reno majoring in art with an emphasis on photography. I've taken a large quantity of photography courses and volunteered as a lab assistant. This required assisting with questions and troubles regarding printer use and photoshop as well as maintaining proper printer, ink, computer, and overall lab care.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always loved photography from a young age. I'm a very visual person, but I always considered it a hobby. When I started studying at the University, I had no idea what I wanted to study. I realized photography didn't have to just be a hobby, but I could make it my job as well and have never regretted it.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've most commonly worked with college seniors for senior portraits. Most recently, I've worked with families and done small events like a baby shower. I've photographed a handful of bands ranging in small basement-like venues to large outdoor festivals.
