Introduction: Sattva Healing Arts provides a unique blend of services under one roof to holistically treat many ailments, as well as provide deep relaxation therapy. Drawing from meditation, yoga, thai bodywork, energy healing, anatomy and physiology, and structurally specific Swedish/Deep tissue manual therapy techniques, my bodywork helps bring the body and mind back in tune and into alignment. Physical strength, specificity, and intuitive sense for where to work in the body integrate to give lasting results through quality touch. Many people have regarded it as the best massage they've ever had. The beautiful, tastefully designed studio is also conveniently located in downtown Renton with free parking, minutes away from downtown shops and restaurants. Please note I do not accept private health insurance, but do accept PIP (Personal Injury for Auto Accident Injury Treatment) and L&I (for work injuries). A holistic, spiritual life is one I practice in and out of the studio. My time giving bodywork or teaching yoga allows me to pass the gifts and skills I've obtained through my own journey; it is a blessing to do so.

Kat has an incredible ability to be both professional and relatable at the same time. I knew the instant she put her hand on my back that she was a great massage therapist. Some people have it, some people don't. Kat does. Her massage is as therapeutic as it is good-feeling. I sense she is aware of the subtle changes that occur in my tissue and nervous system and responds to those changes appropriately. She's a great person and is very funny/responsive to good humor. She's also a hood listener and I often feel well advised by her insights. She's one of my favorite people to see and I'm lucky to have a healer like her in my life. Thanks, Kat!

I received massage therapy from Kat, and I can honestly say it was amazing. I was instantly transported from the stress of the day to a completely calm, blissful headspace, and my sore back, shoulder, and neck muscles were happy and pain-free afterwards. Hired on Thumbtack

Seeking my first ever massage from a masseuse, I was fortunate to learn about Sattva Healing Arts on Thumbtack. Kaitlin promptly responded to my inquiry and was completely forthcoming about the price and duration of the massage she offered. It was one of the most reasonable prices I had found during a lengthy search, so I thought I'd check it out. I was given the choice of getting the massage at a studio or at Kaitlin's home. Her home was closer, so I opted for that. Upon arriving at her home, Kaitlin warmly greeted me and led me into a cozy room with a nice massage table. The ambiance and vibe in the room with quite inviting. Kaitlin was quite hospitable and allowed me to use the bathroom before the massage. I was then given the chance to privately disrobe. I opted for an hour long Swedish massage--it was fantastic!! Kaitlin asked if I had any areas of my body I wanted to focus on and she did a great job giving attention to the areas I mentioned. Kaitlin has delicate and soft, yet extremely strong hands! She perfectly applied alternating pressures, in just the right amounts. Lifting weights regularly, it felt great getting such a massage and I most certainly plan to go back to Kaitlin again for future massages. Kaitlin is very professional, down to earth, and gives a great massage at a great price! I highly recommend her services! Kaitlin is simply awesome!

Kaitlin was prompt with setting up the appointment and helpful with the intake form reminders. On the day of, I was running late b/c I was lost. She was patient and didn't rush me during intake (it was also her last appointment). She understood my needs and made me feel comfortable so I just naturally wanted to share with her what was going on in my body and my life that needed help with. Her treatment room in the Skyway location was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. She worked on the exact areas I needed releasing in and provided the right pressure the whole time. Afterwards, she also listened to how I felt and was very non-judgmental in her attitude and response. I felt whole and honored after her treatment and will definitely go back again.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get a feel for what your ideal massage would be from the start. Sessions typically include: intake, assessment, and homework/tips for self-care between sessions. I welcome open compassionate communication and work to listen to your needs to create the best, most effective session for you.

Licensed in Massage Therapy Certifications in Hatha Yoga (200 hr), Thai Bodywork, Reiki (Master Level) Bachelor of Arts in Holistic Health and Sustainable Business
