Introduction: M.L. Construction has over a decade of experience. Our company is known for doing preservations, multi-unit remodels, flood damage restorations, fire restorations, kitchen remodels and bathroom remodels. We provide quality service and accommodate our clients' budget and needs. We've been officially licensed, bonded and insured since 2007. We own a showroom where we offer a selection of high quality vanities, granite tops, sinks and faucets for our clients to choose from. Martin and his team were referred to us. We closed on Friday, we fumigated over the weekend, and they had our 1200sq ft house apart Monday morning. Here is what they did in only five weeks: Exterior: -Repaired the fascia -Replaced my window trim on all windows, and two of my windows entirely. -Painted the exterior -Poured a patio -Replaced a large side gate -Built and painted a picket fence -Installed a mailbox -Helped me assemble my patio furniture in their down time -Hauled away two truckloads of garbage from the yard and garage that the prior tenants left -Trimmed the trees to keep the off the roof -Patched the roof -took care of the loose wireing in the garage Interior: -Scraped all ceilings -Ripped out all flooring -Ripped out the tub and shower -Ripped out the vanities -Ripped out the toilets -Ripped out all base boards -Retextured the walls and ceiling -Build two doorways -Built a small wall to fix the hall -Reinstalled the bathrooms with new fixtures -Replaced all the ceiling fans -Replaced two doors to the exterior -stripped my sliding glass door of that terrible fogging-effect plastic - hung fresh bedroom closet doors -new carpet in two rooms -new laminate in the living room, office, hall -new vinyl in the kitchen and bathrooms -new baseboards -new kitchen cabnet with counter to match the others -re hung kitchen cabinets to match the other side (they were low) -full paint -smoke detectors -fire extinguishers -re-wired my unsafe attic -new switches and plates Basically, They made it turn-key, from a total dump. And they stayed within my budget. But what will always stay with me is the sense of deep care and respect I felt every step of the way. Our first experience. Never were we blown off of treated like novices. Every time I share pricing with friends who have had work done on their homes, their eyes bug out at how wonderful our pricing was! They always went above and beyond. Like, meeting other people (the surveyer, the city for utilities, the garage door guy, the Apliance delivery guy) so that I didn't have to take work off. Like lending a hand with our last few boxes when we were moving in. Like staying around until my husband made it home on they day he got lost so that I wouldn't be alone in a new neighborhood after dark. Like working weekends to get it done. Like touching base every day with updates. Like helping me spray my yard with flea killer. Like always having a good laugh ready to share. Like answering my stupid "what-the-heck-is-this" calls weeks later when something native to the neighborhood would turn up (mostly bugs). I am so grateful. Also, It's been months and nothing has gone wrong. Our life carries on (knock on wood), and we don't think about trivial house stuff because it's all done.

I am a very satisfied customer of M.L. Construction. My house was nearly destroyed by fire last year. M.L Construction did the fire restorations. I couldn't be more pleased with their work. During each step of the way, Martine was there explaining to what he could and couldn't do. He was very up front and honest, which is a rare these days. My new kitchen and bathrooms are beautiful! Everyone who has come to see the "new house" rave about the molding. You can't go wrong with M.L. Construction.

I hired M.L. Construction to remodel my bathroom and kitchen. Martin Lucero,the owner, is very knowledgeable in the construction field and displayed a very good understanding of what I wanted for my remodel.He also gave me some money saving tips on some of my ideas for my bath!!!! He will give you a fair price, a honest finish date, quality service and beautiful work!!! Highly recommended!! CMoon

Martin came to my house to give me an estimate and was very informative and helpful. I was more than satisfied with his visit. His information helped me make a decision regarding doing work to my home and actually referred to a couple of gentlemen who specialize in the work i needed. No, there are too many variables which is why we schedule consultations to assess the property.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We believe it's very important to set up a consultation to walk the property with the customer. It's a good way to give us a better understanding of the project and answer all the questions the customer might have. If they like our plans and want to hire us, we will schedule a start and completion date.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've taken classes on carpentry and electrical at Valley College then went to a contracting school where I became a certified contractor.
