Introduction: My goal is to help students learn how to sing with freedom, and to find their unique sound. I specialize in music theatre but can teach voice for a variety of other styles. I am also an acting coach, and can help prep students to prepare for auditions, specifically for plays and musicals. I love helping people to realize their potential. It is exciting to see a student come into themselves and find their gifts, which are so unique to each individual. It is important to equip a student to be able to work on their own, as an end goal, so they can have the tools to discover how to gain more and more ease with performing. I live in Ridgefield Connecticut and teach in person locally as well as online.

I love taking voice lessons with Lizzie! She's very personable and accommodates what you want to learn. I'm a pianist and piano teacher, and Lizzie is helping me with proper technique. She selected a variety of fun songs to help me work toward my goals. She gives clear direction to help you sing tough passages with ease. Lizzie has extensive experience in musical theatre and a wide repertoire and has studied with some of today's greatest vocal teachers. She's incredibly talented, and an amazing teacher! I could not recommend her more highly!!

Lizzie is an absolute pro! She has worked with our 14-year-old daughter over the last couple of years and has been the best vocal coach we could have ever hoped for. Lizzie had a way of selecting age-appropriate music that allowed our daughter to grow in the direction she needed to. From technique to confidence, stage presence, vocal tone, etc. Lizzie hits all the marks and is an absolute dream to work with. We look forward to many more years together and can not say enough good things about her.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Theatre from Oklahoma City University, where I studied under Florence Birdwell. I am a member of actors equity and have performed in Broadway national tours, Broadway workshops and concerts, as well as in regional theatre around the country.
