Sam is the most knowledgeable and meticulous tuner I have known. Unlike many other tuners he is also a musician. A true master of his craft! I would recommend him very very highly.

Amazing piano tuner. My piano was about 30cents flat and for the longest time all the tuners I've hired have done nothing to correct it nor have their tuning jobs been good enough. Sam was punctual, super friendly and did a superb job! Now my piano sounds the best it's ever sounded!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

$100-130 for a fine tuning (depending on location) $30 for a pitch raise (necessary when a piano is VERY out of tune, often after more than a year has passed since it's last tuning) $50/hr for repair work/voicing/regulating/etc...

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I apprenticed with my father who is a master piano re-builder in Buffalo, NY.
