Sam was a pleasure to work with. Would use again for next piano tuning and recommend to anyone looking for a kind and thoughtful expert.May 3, 2018Verified
My piano and I were thrilled to have found Sam. He is friendly, clear-spoken, dedicated, hard-working, and fully professional. My childhood piano had been neglected for too long, but Sam plunged in and worked diligently to bring it back into tune and to make some modest repairs and adjustments so it would work more smoothly and sound good again. I gladly recommend Sam to anyone who needs a thorough piano tuning. I hope to work with Sam again--sooner rather than later!Mar 20, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?$100-130 for a fine tuning (depending on location) $30 for a pitch raise (necessary when a piano is VERY out of tune, often after more than a year has passed since it's last tuning) $50/hr for repair work/voicing/regulating/etc...
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I apprenticed with my father who is a master piano re-builder in Buffalo, NY.
