Introduction: Hey all! My name is Kathleen Serra and I'm a proud 'El Valle" native! Born and raised in the small, but friendly town of Rio Hondo, I'm a proud mother of a beautiful little girl whom my world revolves around. I've been a photographer since 2010, and it has been my passion ever since. I feel that pictures are important because it captures a special moment in time, for forever! I also feel that we need to move away from believing that hired photographers are a luxury that is too expensive. EVERYONE should be able to have photos to look back and reminisce on. That being said, I'm proud to serve my fellow Rio Grande Valley natives, and families I grew up alongside with affordable, quality photography. I thoroughly enjoy seeing my clients reactions when they receive the final product!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have a Pricing Menu that I refer to, but since I'm open to taking all different types of commissions, I'm open to negotiating!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love getting to know my clients! I enjoy meeting my clients face to face and LISTENING to them. What do they need done? I strongly feel that conversing with my clients opens up the creative process for our upcoming session. Have thoughts, ideas or opinions? Let me hear them all! By thorough communication, we will get the best results. I hope to convey to them that I am trustworthy and have their best interests in mind at all times
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied Photography as a minor in school and I worked at a private studio in Windsor, Colorado for about 5 years. School taught me all the basics but I feel like I really developed my own style in Windsor.
