I had expressed to the owner that I was not happy with how a small deck was built, and that it was also not completed. The owner told me he would come back to finish the work properly and to finish another task. I talked to him in person and he said he would be back the following week after he finished some other jobs. He did not return. He was paid in full for his work, and I have a deck that is built incorrectly and not finished. I know things come up and mistakes can be made. I expect that a professional will correct an error and do their best to make things right. Especially when they have been paid to do a job. After he said he would fix things and did not show up to rectify them, I went out of town, and I have not contacted him again which is my fault.
