Q & A
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I offer flat fees that save customers money in comparison to hiring an attorney. Those fees are discussed after a consultation, which will determine how much work is needed. I do not hook people in by giving them an extraordinarily low quote just to later stack on more fees for each additional form, phone call or email. I am up front and do not nickel and dime clients. Upon approval, I offer reasonable payment plans.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When I receive an inquiry I typically offer a free phone or in-person consultation. I then provide a flat rate quote, provide some attorney-approved materials to help clients make informed decisions, as well as to help them instruct me on how they wish to proceed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a degree in Legal Studies and am a certified Family Law Mediator. I have 14 years of experience from Sr. Paralegal to Managing Paralegal at law firms of various sizes. I have assisted Sr. level attorneys, partners and family law specialists in cases of varying complexity. I assist individuals representing themselves with finalizing long drawn out divorces, or seeking child support orders, and domestic violence restraining orders to name a few.
