Introduction: My father was an avid DIYer. He made sure all of his kids knew how to take care of things. I have done home remodels and repairs for other people on the side for as long as I can remember. I recently had a desk job end, so I decided to open my business full time. I love getting the vision from my customers, and putting that into action. I am a Handyman through and through. I have experience in framing, Sheetrock and Sheetrock finishing. I can build cabinets, Install them and repair them. I can do things from light plumbing and electrical to tiling an entire house. Finish carpentry and sheet rock are my strongest skill sets. I really like the anticipation of how the project is going to turn out.

Had A Handyman and Remodeling came in for a few projects. Was quick and did it for the right price. Had a new laundry room put together, shelving for a pantry, moldings for doors and windows, and baseboards done. Work is done very very well, and as I said was done for the right price. I hired Dave before Thanksgiving for some cabinet doors to be built. I knew with the holidays coming up that I may have some delays in getting them done and installed. However, I was pushed back time and time again, despite leaving my schedule wide open for them to be installed. I paid for the doors ahead of time. Thanksgiving came. Christmas came, went, and nothing was installed. Again I was pretty patient and accommodating to his schedule and bigger projects he was finishing up. During this time I also gave him extra trim paint for my doors. The first week of January Dave let me know he was having knee surgery and would no longer be able to finish my cabinet doors and would refund my money and return to paint to me. I even allowed several days for him to get the funds to me. However, an additional week has gone by with no refund, no paint, and now he will not return my messages. I expect honesty when I’m hiring someone. In the meantime, I’ve hired another finish carpenter and my new doors are almost done. I hate leaving negative reviews but do not want another potential customer to have to deal with losing money from the cabinets and now losing money from my paint not being returned.

I work very hard to make sure my work matches my pricing. Although no one can guarantee a repair, I do have a 1 year warranty on installs.

I like to take the time to really understand the way the customer envisions the outcome. I like to sit down and talk about what they want.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The training I have is hands on. I have learned a lot by remodeling the homes that I have lived in and from my Father.
