FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Before rendering an estimate, we take our time to evaluate the project and communicate with the customer so that we have a clear understanding of what needs to be done. Oftentimes, customers want a rough estimate. This estimate is usually high until we can properly inspect the project. Nevertheless, it is an estimate, not you final price. Customers would rather see the price go down, than to see it go up. We are aware of the going rates in today’s market and we do our best to stay below the competition. Generally, window cleaning costs $2-$7 per pane. For a 1,300-square foot home with 20 panes, the cost would run $40-$140. For a 2,200-square foot home with 28 panes, the price would average $56-$196. Self-cleaning windows can be made easier with the proper tools. On average (based on a 1,000-square-foot business), scrubbing a floor costs $11-$31; machine stripping is $20-$60; applying a floor finish is $15-$20; and applying a sealer is $15-$20. Residential floor cleaning rates are typically charged by room. Most rooms typically range from $80-$120. The cost to Paint Rooms starts at $2.65 - $5.53 per square foot. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially, we would communicate via phone/email to discuss the work you want done. Next, we would meet in person to evaluate the work and negotiate a price. We would then schedule a date and time to begin the project and set an estimated finish time/date. Payment is normally due upon completion of the job. In some cases, larger projects may require a small percentage up front.
