- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a retired school teacher. I graduated from Alverno College in Milwaukee, WI. I have taught in both public and private schools, at all levels, including primary, middle school snd high school. I have worked as an Intervention Specialist in both reading and Math. I have experience working with ADHD, Autism, Attachment Disorder and other LD students. I am the mother of 4, and grandmother of 9.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I'm a retired teacher. Originally students came to me for extra help. I really enjoyed working with students one on one. When I moved here from Southeastern Wisconsin, I decided to offer tutoring services to students. It's such a rewarding job. I love it!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with children and adults. I have a background working with students with ADHD, attachment disorder and other learning disabilities, as well as mainstream students. I have experience teaching basic math, Pre Algebra, Algebra, Advanced Algebra, Trigonometry and Pre Calculus, Business Math, Physics and Reading. I also work with students on ACT prep.
