I'm 53 years old and have outsourced many jobs. Unquestionably, my experience with Musclebaby is the very best service I have ever received. I look for four things when hiring a business to do work for me: skill, communication, professionalism and attention to detail. Rarely have I found all four in a business but Musclebaby and Bryan clearly gave me all four. I hired Musclebaby to take up my old kitchen floor and replace it with a floating bamboo floor. Bryan's responsiveness is unrivaled and the end result of his skill, professionalism and attention to detail far exceeded my expectations. I can't express how exquisite my kitchen looks. The job did not come without a number of hurdles such as a flood from the plumbing in the valve which controls the flow of water from the house to the refrigerator. Bryan used his knowledge and skill to fix the plumbing problem. I appreciated his responsiveness and while he is extremely congenial, Bryan maintains the highest level of professionalism. I have already discussed hiring Musclebaby to do the flooring in two additional rooms. You will never be left guessing about the status of your job, Musclebaby is very reasonable and Bryan is truly a skilled professional. I gave five stars but if I could give six I would.

What an amazing job Bryan did on our home. The meticulous nature and care he put in to ensuring an exceptionally professional finish was above and beyond. We absolutely love everything he did to install the backsplash in our home Kitchen. Highly would recommend to friends, neighbors and family. Wasn’t a small job and not easy. I’d be happy to be a referral if anyone needs a reference.

I know Bryan is a bit new to Thumbtack and did not have any reviews yet when I decided to work with him, but I'm glad I made the choice to use him. Bryan was extremely good at communicating the work timeline and expectations with me. Work came out at a very high quality and Bryan was able to move quickly from the point of deciding to work with him to the point of completion. (less than a week total). Work was a tile job on a back-splash replacement for our kitchen and I included a picture of the finish product for reference. I supplied the tile and per our agreement Bryan procured the grout and I reimbursed him for it at cost. Bryan takes pride in his work and not only did every little ask we made of him but also suggested a few minor things that he could do to help the finished product look better and last. (i.e. a bit more caulking work ancillary to the tile work, and leaving a gap between the tile and counter in case we want to replace the counter in the future.) I would not hesitate to recommend Bryan for tile work.

I consider my pricing fair for both my customers and me.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I really like to have a consultation with the customer to see what they are really trying to accomplish. I help with color, style and most importantly, the material for the area.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had done some house flips, work on my own home and helped family and friends with projects. I often got compliments on what a good job I did. when I did hire some things out, I would notice shoddy work and my friends would say I did better work then the so called "professionals". I enjoyed doing the work and was ready to leave corporate America. I started on the weekends and am very close to full time transition!
