FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Information about monthly tuition and other administrative matters is available online. Go to the Piano Plus website and click the "Studio" link in the navigation bar. You'll see separate pages for "Policies" and "Tuition."
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to schedule a face-to-face meeting with a prospective student or parent/student. This initial get-together offers us an opportunity to meet and discuss the possibility of working together – to get a sense, for all of us, if the student/teacher relationship is likely to be a “good fit.”
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been teaching for more than 20 years. My method represents a mix of formal training (university and college degrees), lots of real-life playing in a wide range of situations, thousands of hours in the practice room, self-study, composing and arranging, and, most importantly, direct teaching experience. In addition to my music training, I earned a psychology degree at the University of Rochester while studying with two of the world's leading scholars in the area of human motivation.
