FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is generally based of the material sold by the square feet .The cost of labor to install that material by the square feet, and also the cost of ripping up and hauling off old flooring.(called demolition) Moving furniture or other objects such as stoves .washers, dryers and refrigerators carries a cost because the installers charge to do them. There may also be a charge for moldings and transitions that are needed to give the job the finishing touch.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My main objective is to find out what the customer want and make a determination of what the customer need. They are not always the same. I need to know if the customer plans on living in the dwelling ,putting it up for rent, or selling it. What style of decorating do they have such as traditional, contemporary etc. All of these gives me a basis for consultation .
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 30 years of flooring sales with 20 of them as a flooring manager and 5 years of furniture sales to give me a broader view of flooring, color, and decorating.
