Introduction: I am a certified teacher living in Rockford with three master's degrees; one in Aerospace Engineering, one in mathematics, and one in theology.
I was a practicing Aerospace Engineer for five years before I began teaching numerous math and science courses for the past fifteen years at a Christian secondary school in Maple Grove.
I am competent and able to teach any high school math or science course and most collegiate math, physics, and engineering courses. My specialty is AP Calculus AB and BC, in which I have been an AP test grader and I can provide over 700 pages of personal curriculum and supplementary notes.
My students say that I have a very down to earth and easy going personality, which makes the learning environment more comfortable and more effective. Also, my schedule is flexible to meet your needs. Sessions are usually held during weekday evenings or on Saturday.
I am a member of the American Association of Physics Teachers, American Helicopter Society, American Physical Society, Mathematical Association of America, and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
Typical clients:
High school and college students wanting to maintain and improve their academic performance.
Home-schoolers.
Students preparing for the ACT or SAT tests.
I thoroughly enjoy helping others become more competent in math and science.
