About this pro
I was really enthusiastic and looking forward to working with Randy and his team! They were super helpful and friendly when it came to helping choose shingles and planning the work. However it all started to go downhill from there, we had to have the work rescheduled twice, missed work for it. The team that did the tear off damaged my a/c and in the process of throwing debri off the roof also damaged my pool and pool cover. In addition to those, either during teardown or actually putting the roof on they damaged some of my siding And dented up my newly replaced window trim. I explained to Randy when I next spoke to him and even sent pictures of the damage. Initially he was very apologetic and said he would fix the caused damage and replace the broken items. He was even kind enough to offer us a gift card for dinner on him for the trouble. He said he would talk to his team and make sure it never happens again. I waited and waited patiently for him to send invoices for the replacement damages to be started this spring and the gift card that was supposedly going to be mailed with it. But nothing showed, I called once to remind him or see if he forgot. Text him a couple times. For which he confused me with several other customers who apparently were having similar issues with Toye Construction. After the 2-3 times he mistook me for another customer... I finally decided to stop giving them the benefit of the doubt and accepted that he never intended to honor his word and make right the damages caused by his team. I could have persued it and made a big deal of it. Nothing comes from that. Instead I'll post a few informative reviews so no one else gets tricked by Toye Construction. I won't post the pictures, I'm not trying to ruin the business. Just wish they had more integrity and follow thru. Sincerely, Disappointed.May 24, 2018Verified
Randy was pleasant to work with, I think I kept him at my house for over an hour gabbing with me when he gave me the estimate, Anyone who can put up with me like that is alright in my book, lol. No pressure whatsoever. The guys did a good job, took 1 day just as promised. All in all very happy would do business with again.Jun 2, 2017Verified
