I came to Aubrey to get a custom-designed Renaissance wedding dress. I had a few reference pictures of different styles in mind, and she combined them into a design that I loved! She checked in with me regularly and made sure that the design was exactly what I had wanted. She did several mock-ups in white fabric for fittings, adjusting the dress as I changed my mind a few times about the neckline and the size of the sleeves. (She is very patient!) We went through multiple rounds of swatching fabrics and when I fell in love with a gorgeous silk with limited yardage available, she made it work. As she was making the gown itself, I came in for multiple fittings, to make sure that things were fitting well – she even adjusted the fit of the sleeves so I could dance more enthusiastically. She added pockets to my dress, so I was able to have my phone and a few other things on me, and it didn’t show. And – very exciting – I was able to go to the bathroom by myself on my wedding day! Aubrey suggested shoes and jewelry to go with the gown, and even created trim out of two different kinds of lace to get the look that I wanted. Aubrey is did an amazing job and I highly recommend her!

Aubrey played a significant part in making my wedding as epic as it turned out to be. She helped me design a customer Renaissance outfit tailor-fit to me based on a couple of reference pictures and vague ideas I had put together. She was awesome. She spent significant time working with me step-by-step through the process: from design, to mock-ups, fabric choice, fittings and more fittings. (I may have put on some weight while she was making it ... oops.) She was great, and helped design something that I was extremely pleased with, that looked and fit great. Easy to communicate and work with, I can highly recommend coming to Aubrey with your custom needs.
