- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first meeting consists of me getting to know you. I want to know what your goals are (strength, weight loss, flexibility, sculpting, endurance, quality of life etc...). I also want to know your biggest obstacles for working out as well as your health history. After reviewing all this information as well as your current fitness abilities I can begin to formulate where we will start and how we will make our journey to your goals through nutrition and exercise. I also offer accountability through the week to stay on track with the "map" we have planned out.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelors Degree in Health Education. I also hold a Personal Trainers Certification from NASM. I am CPR/AED certified.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have enjoyed working out and nutrition since I was in high school and so I pursued and received my degree in Health Eduction. I spent years of training people (friends and strangers who asked me) for fun on the side and so many of them urged me to take it on full time. I am so glad I listened to them, because I am having so much fun helping and educating people how improve their health, gain confidence, attain goals they never thought they could, and feeling the best they ever have! It is so fulfilling! Best of all, I get to invest in new relationships! It doesn't get any better!
