Introduction: About the director: Charles E. Hawkins (Chuck) is the director, (qualified manager) of Hawkins Investigations, an agency which specializes in employment and insurance defense matters. Chuck is a "hands-on" manager of all the agency's assignments. Chuck also conducts investigations in North Carolina under Hawkins Investigations. Chuck Hawkins holds a Bachelor of Science from the Excelsior College of the University of the State of New York. His Degree focuses are psychology and business management. Chuck has been a licensed private investigator in the State of California for over 25 years. He has also continued his professional studies with ongoing courses in interviewing and interrogation, small business management, and seminars conducted by Investigation and Employer Organizations. As a master martial arts instructor and personal protection specialist, Chuck Hawkins has conducted seminars for companies and private organizations, involving corporate and family security. Being fluent in Spanish has allowed Chuck to successfully conduct investigations along the Mexican border as well as in Mexico. Not only does Chuck direct and conduct investigations for Action Associates and Hawkins Investigations, he has also been called upon by other investigative agencies to assist in extended team investigative operations. Chuck Hawkins held the office of President of the San Diego County Investigators Association in 1997, held the rank of Sergeant in the San Diego County Honorary Deputy Sherif's Association, and has been a Court Appointed Special Advocate(CASA) for the Juvenile Dependency system in San Diego County. Chuck started and currently supports a Martial Arts program for physically challenged individuals in San Diego County, which is now beginning a program for our military personnel recovering at Balboa Hospital from injuries in Iraq and Afghanistan. These programs are offered at no charge to the participants. Chuck has received commendations from several Senators, Congresspersons, and the Governor of California, for his philanthropic work for Juvenile Diabetes, and other charitable organizations.
