Introduction: I am a graduate from the culinary program at the Santa Rosa Junior College. I began working in the food industry at Johnny Garlics back in 2008 and have been doing private parties in the sonoma county area since 2013. I specialize in Integrating flavors from around the world with fresh local ingredients doing my best to showcase what sonoma county has to offer. I love working with people to share my joy of food and fellowship. Planning a party or even weekly meals can be chaotic and I excel at doing it for others.

I hired Eli as a personal chef to cook for my husband's retirement party. We had over 40 people and I wanted to be able to enjoy the party without the stress of planning, shopping and cooking for days. This was my first experience with a personal chef and it was fantastic, I have never been so relaxed entertaining. Everyone should experience the joy of entertaining with a personal chef. Eli and I worked together on a delicious menu that would fit the theme of the party and be in my price range. I opted for a Southwest Backyard style party. We put a menu together that was enjoyed to the tune of second and third helpings by all. One of the items was a Southwest Pulled Pork that was so tender and juicy our guests kept snacking on it the entire party. We planned the menu and from that point on Eli and staff took over all the shopping, preparing and cooking of the food, setting up the buffet, tables, serving and cleaning up. Talk about the Joy of Cooking - that was it. Prior to the retirement party a co-worker had hired Eli to make some quiches for an Appreciation Breakfast for the staff. The quiches were so tasty and full of local fresh products, I took a business card "just in case", glad I did and you will be glad to when you call Eli at Local Dish.

Eli and his lovely wife along with their talented team of assistants and servers have made our special occasions delicious and delightful! Communication with Eli and collaborating on menu and details is effortless. At the end of a fun evening, the kitchen sparkles and like Humpty Dumpty, our home is put back together again!

We have used Eli Anderson for a dozen events in the last year. Eli is fabulous. He cooks with fresh, locally sourced products, he selects food based on all your allergy needs, he's reliable, organized, very passionate, loves what he does and is thoroughly committed. We have used Eli for plated events with servers, full diners that he drops off, to casual cocktail parties. He is one of a kind. You will love what he prepares, his presentation and his passion while doing it.
