FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge a one time booking fee of $100. I often run discounts on this and will always let you know up front. This fee’s sole purpose is to hold your date on our calendar and cover our travel to your event. If your event is farther than we are used to, please expect to pay more. This is standard in this industry.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I vet my customers the same way they vet me. I share my social and promotional items, my experience and qualifications and I ask them similar questions. Event planning isn’t for everyone and being in this business I been to my fair share of poorly executed and organized events. We now don’t travel without our minimum covered as we’ve been burned on events that want us to be super prepared for their festival that isn’t.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Being ServSafe certified and having not only real world experience in the restaurant world, but experience managing someone else business is a plus.
