I had an excellent experience with this company. The techs, Steve and Herman, were awesome. They clearly knew what they were doing! Timely, neat, and nice to boot!! And did not cost a fortune.

Hired on Thumbtack

We bought a new home and wanted to have all the TV's mounted. We found the Home Technology Handyman on Thumbtack and we could not have been happier. Steve came out to the house beforehand in order to scope out the project and give us an estimate. He was prompt and professional and gave a fair price. We scheduled a time for the work and shared a few emails back and forth adding a few extra projects for the appointment. Steve and Herman showed up on the scheduled day and worked diligently to complete all the tasks we asked for, and more. Not only did the guys mount our TV's without making 100 holes in the wall (like I would have done) but they ran the wires inside the wall so we didn't have ugly wires hanging between the TV and the DVR box/PS4. Additionally, they cleaned up the com-box (where all the ethernet and TV wires run to). This was great because the Comcast tech that installed my internet and TV left the box an absolute mess. I've included before and after pictures of the box so you can see how awesome these guys are. Now there are probably plenty of guys that can do the jobs mentioned above; however, I would hire these guys again for more than their ability to mount TVs and hide wires. These guys were professional and prompt, yet personable and respectful. They put down sheets to contain the mess from cutting new holes in the wall and were very careful with their equipment in all the rooms. I was very pleased with their attention to detail and how careful they were. I did not feel like I needed to follow them around to make sure they were doing a good job. Overall, these guys exceeded our expectations. I would use them again and recommend them to ANYONE looking to do electrical work relating to TV or internet.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure to avoid the "trunk slammers". Anyone can run around doing basic installations for low prices - but not everyone is licensed, insured, and experienced. Mounting a TV can be relatively easy, but there is great risk for costly mistakes. Don't get stuck with the repair bill!
