Chef Shawna was fantastic. We had a group of 20 for a joint Bachlor/Bachelorette party in Temecula. She created a delicious meal for the group and was able to accommodate one guest that is gluten and dairy free (even bringing them 1 special dessert)! She was responsive and very friendly. She also brought table cloths and some light decor to make the table and setting look fantastic. Everyone in the group loved the food and said it was the highlight of our weekend. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We will discuss the type of service you are looking for. We schedule a phone conversation to go over your likes, dislikes, allergies or any special dietary needs you might have. From there we will go over menu options and I create a personalized menu based on the information received. I email the menu along with a list of everything we discussed and if everything is perfect I receive a down payment and your special day is reserved. On the day of the event we arrive at the venue and create a wonderful meal and experience for you and your guests. When we are done we clean and make sure everything is exactly as we found it. Final payment is made at that time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?25 years experience in the food industry. 20 of those years I created cakes and pastries and then found my passion for savory dishes.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I had been a pastry chef for 20 years but really had a passion for savory cooking. I met a personal chef and worked with her and that's when it all changed for me. I absolutely love to cook for people. I love their reaction when they enjoy what I have prepared for them.
