FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is flexible! I care about delivering a photo package that is worth my time and worth your money. My clients and I discuss what we think that should be based on travel, length of the event, number of pictures, and editing time. There is a lot involved in photographing a wedding, portraits, etc. However, it is always worth it to document these special moments! My typical fees are as follows. However, if this seems too low or too high for you depending on your budget and the amount of photos you want, let's talk about it! I'm always down for a bargain. All of my packages are subject to an additional travel fee. Weddings: 500-1500 | 100-300 edited photos Bridals: 250 | 35+ edited photos Engagements: 250 | 35+ edited photos Small/Local Businesses: 250 | 30+ edited photos Events: 300 | 75+ edited photos Realty: 50-150 | 5-25 edited photos Newlyweds/Lifestyle: 225 | 35+ edited photos Solo Portraits: 175 | 15+ edited photos Family Portraits: 225 | 20+ edited photos
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically communicate via email and then via phone. I will tailor a contract to fit your photography needs and send it to you electronically to look over and to see if you have any questions. If not, I will send it via snail mail (old school!) for your signature, and you will return it with a monetary deposit (usually less than half the cost of the entire photography package). Depending on what the photography session entails, I will further discuss with the client exactly what his or her expectations are, so that I can prepare myself before the big day. Once the deposit is paid, that session is blocked off in my calendar. The final payment is due upon the scheduled day for photography, and the client will receive the edited photos digitally within 3 weeks of that day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've worked in social media on and off since 2014. I purchased my first DSLR in 2010 and have pursued photography ever since. Besides my solo work, I have worked with four professional photographers as a second shooter at numerous weddings in order to have proper training.
