I am so happy that I hired Pam as my wedding day-of-coordinator. Although it was “day-of”, she helped me with a lot of the preparation that I didn’t even know existed. I didn’t know anything about a wedding and how to put it together, but she helped me more than I ever imagined. My timeline went smoothly and she assisted me in making sure everything was in line beforehand. Toward to end, she relieve me of my wedding stress by taking care of the little things. She was extremely easy to work with and her love for what she does truly shows. I have no regrets of hiring her and would recommend her to anyone needing help planning a wedding who knows nothing about how to make it happen or even someone who does.

I was the "bride without a plan" with only a few months to go before our wedding. Hiring Events,Etcetera was THE best decision that I made. All of the tiniest of details were addressed. Pam thought of EVERYTHING and had a back-up plan to the back-up plan. She made sure that I stayed on task with making decisions and booking vendors. I am a natural worrier, but I never worried about our wedding once Events, Etc became our event coordinator.

Pam from Events, Etcetera did an outstanding job with coordinating our wedding. She was highly professional and organized, and she checked in with us at regular intervals to ensure that we were on track with our planning. She helped us get everything arranged with our vendors and offered helpful suggestions to manage our deliveries and pickups. Pam also tailored her services to fit our needs, which set her apart from other coordinators that we considered working with. I would definitely recommend her to other couples who are looking for a coordinator.

My wedding was this past weekend and thanks to my coordinator, Pam and her associate, Alex, everything was run flawlessly! I found Pam through Thumbtack and I am so thankful that I was connected with her. I worked with Pam for our July wedding starting in January and over the 6.5 months up until my wedding, she was patient, responsive, trustworthy and extremely helpful. She listened to my ideas and provided feedback and input, she was responsive when I had questions and she always followed up in a timely manner. Even though I had a contact at the venue that I was working with, it was so great to have Pam take care of all of the things that the venue wasn't responsible for or wouldn't do. To be honest, in the beginning I was only planning on hiring a Day Of Coordinator, but Pam said she could start working with me as often /as soon as I wanted. We started out having weekly conversations and it was SO worth it. She helped me stay on track with my timeline, she managed all contracts for me and helped me stay organized throughout the whole process. I can go on and on about how fabulous she is to work with! Like I said, I am so thankful that I found her because there were so many things that I was missing or may have forgotten about. She pays attention to all of the little details. On the day of the wedding, I felt so comforted knowing that Pam and Alex were taking care of everything. I didn't have to worry about a thing! My guests even complimented how organized and top of everything they were. I would recommend Pam to anyone! Looking back, I don't know how I could have done it without her.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Wedding and special event pricing is based on the specific services and level of services each client requests. I work with each client to understand what their vision for their event is and, based on their budget, what types of services they will need. Wedding packages for each couple are custom designed to meet each couple's specific needs, requirements, and budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Starting with a telephone consultation, it is important that both the client and I make a connection. I then forward Client Information and Questionnaire forms that also help me to understand what specific services and assistance the client is requesting. When the client decides to move forward with my services, we begin designing and planning all of the details required to achieve their vision for their special event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
During my career as Programs Coordinator (conferences and trade shows, including receptions and special events) for corporate events, I attended California State University, Sacramento, and completed the Meeting Planning Certificate Program (1994). On April 6, 2016, I completed CSUS's Continuing Education: Meeting and Event Planning Certificate Program. Since August 2015, I have been an Event Consultant (Special Events) at a winery located in El Dorado County. Continuing Education: The David Tutera Mentorship Program.
