From beginners to the competitive show ring, we have a horse suitable for every level of rider. Travel is available to your barn for a fee.

Alicia is a very capable instructor for both horse and rider. She is kind, patient and works with horse and rider to attain realistic goals. She is a good leader that horses and riders can depend on. She trains using natural horsemanship techniques that strengthen and increase confidence in both horse and riders. She is very capable training troubled horses. Because she also competes in eventing, she has good skills in crosscountry, jumping and dressage. She can teach reining as well. The young children adore her and she is good with new older riders as well. She works hard and has a strong sense of ethics guiding her horsemanship. She been training me and my horses for 4 years.

Sacramento Riding School is a place where you will receive thorough and knowledgeable instruction from one of the best. Alicia tunes right in on the student's skill and comfort levels and takes it from there to truly customize instruction, all the while with patience and encouragement and a nudge forward if the time is right. Whether you're just starting out or already riding, English or Western, this is a wonderful place. So glad I found Alicia and her riding school!

Alicia is a knowledgeable teacher with a good eye and a wonderful and safe program to teach anyone to have a solid foundation. Her lesson horses are great for beginners as well. Alicia is also a great trainer for adults and those with their own horses as well. I've been riding for years and I still learn something new and leave each lesson a better rider.
