FAQs

-I first do a PAR-Q (physical readiness questionare) this helps me find out information about the prospective client that will help me identify their health history - I have an open conversation with them about their history with exercise and nutrition and what their current structure is like - I inquire about their life and everyday duties so I have a better idea of what their movement (or lack of movement is like currently) - Lasly I go over there goals and proceed to take weight/measurements and then give them a outline of what their training schedule will look like

- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I found my passion in fitness after my brother had passed away 8 years ago. I didn't take his passing very well the year afterwards and was in a bad place personally. I helped a friend get over a drug addiction and we decided to start working out and playing basketball. We both started to get in great shape and loved working out. I fell in love with fitness and had an insatiable curiously to learn more about the body. At that time I decided to take my personal training exam and I was hired at California Famiky Fitness
