Introduction: My musical journey began over 13 years ago. My parents had bought me a drum set for my birthday and enrolled me in weekly lessons. I thought I had found my life passion until I got my first keyboard. I could not stop playing it!
Eventually, I was able to start taking piano lessons. I would perform monthly recitals and in between practicing technique and classical repertoire, I would write my own melodies. I eventually moved to New York City and performed at local venues both as a solo pianist and as an accompanist.
With my lessons, students will be able to read music, perform standards as well as contemporary music. Whatever your goal is as a musician, I will create a customized lesson plan to help you reach it! The first lesson is free of charge.

Joel is one of the most patient, knowledgeable and understanding piano instructors I have ever had the pleasure to teach me piano lessons. If you are wanting to learn how to play the piano or keyboard Joel is the person to teach you.Especially a new beginner or if you want to refamiliarize yourself with the piano or keyboard. I would of gave Joel 10 stars if it would of allowed me to. Darren
