FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Standard Clean: Includes services such as dusting, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors, making beds, wiping kitchen surfaces and bathrooms. This usually averages around $22.00 per hour. Deep Clean: Includes standard cleaning services in addition to items such as interior/exterior cabinetry, baseboards, appliances (stove, oven, microwave and refrigerator), light fixtures, interior windows and sills and laundry. Clients can specify which services they require or can request all of them. The average cost is around $24.00 per hour. I consider Move-In/Outs a deep clean and cover the entire unit/property. Although projects vary, the average three bed/2 bath requires around ten hours for a thorough clean. I often offer an introductory rate of $20.00 per hour for regular recurring clients after initial clean. I work with a carpet cleaner, handyman and debris hauler/mover all of whom charge under seperate cover. Depending on type(s) of stain(s) and soil level, carpet cleaning averages around $50.00 per room. Hauling and moving quotes are based on the number of truckloads anticipated, labor and time and dumping fees. Handyman prices are assessed hourly based on project level of difficulty and anticipated time in addition to necessary materials. I reserve the right to adjust quotes after viewing the property and there's a four-hour/$100 minimum.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After initial contact, I like to connect by phone to introduce myself and get more information about the client' s project, i.e., goal(s), budget, allotted time/availability. I schedule a walk-thru in order to refine my quote and give them a better idea of what they can expect from me in terms of how long I think the project will take to complete, my capabilities and/or limitations, whether I would clean alone or bring crew members and if other services would be needed. We then create a work order based on the consultation and schedule the cleaning appointment. I interact with clients while working for their input and progress checks. Upon completion a second lite walk-thru is conducted to make sure the client is satisfied. They sign the completed work order, after which I forward an invoice via Paypal and later a receipt, thank them for their patronage and follow-up a day or two later with a ratings/review request.
