- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do free quotes, The nature of construction is such that it is rarely possible to give a price without meeting with the client and see what he/she has in mind.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If the project is in the initail phases, the process is more or less as follows. 1. Initial meeting to establish the scope of work. 2, Cost proposal ( typically for the design phase only, since the final building cost can only be established once the project is designed. 3. Design phase. This phase can take a few weeks with several meetings to fine-tune the final design 4. permit drawing generation. During this phase, we develop the drawings to be ready for submission at the building dept. 5. Final building cost. With the drawings now available we can cost the project, I typically do not have a problem if the client wants to obtain prices from other contractors at this stage, or if he/she ends up working with another contractor. 6. Final construction pahse.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a qualified architect who worked as an architect for over 30 years. I am however not registered in Florida, so I work with an architect colleague who overseas and sign and seals the drawings. I obtained my construction license more than 10 years ago
