- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I purchased a house with severe foundation damage in 2014. The home required extensive foundation repair. Two 30 ft walls were rebuilt, carbon fibers support straps were added and footing tie-ins were installed with rebar. The experience was overwhelming. Countless contractors tried to oversell and overprice the scope of work required. I was forced to rebuild a basement wall myself because I refused to pay more money for a contractors negligence. I studied extensively the cause, effect, and repair methods for foundation damage. As a result, I became an advocate for friends, family, and countless people who needed both education and support about exterior drainage. I fell in love with educating and helping people solve drainage issues. For this reason, Exterior Drainage Solutions began.
