I have nothing but positive comments about Brad Stone. He is extremely passionate about his work and training the right way. His approach caters to each person's individual needs, such as injuries requiring customization, etc. Even in a group environment. Brad believes in your potential even when you don't. He pushes you to be better then says see I knew you could do it. Mantra being don't underestimate yourself! I highly recommend Brad and Stone Strength Systems to anyone serious about achieving their fitness goals. A+++++++++

    About this pro

As a former professional baseball player, I have spent years learning from the best in the world as a client. Having such extensive experience on the other side of the coin helps me as a coach be more attentive to my clients needs, understand how my clients need to be coached, and directly understand my clients concerns My favorite part of what I do is not necessarily when someone hits a new PR or achieves a goal; don't get me wrong, those things are awesome, but my favorite part of my job is seeing how people carry themselves differently when they are training and improving. I love seeing the self-confidence in their stride and posture, hearing assertiveness and command in their voice. I have an opportunity to change someone's life, that's what I love about my job.

      Q & A

      • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing details can be found online at stonestrengthsystems.com Under the services tab there are options for the Hybrid Strength Training and 1 on 1 Personal Training.
      • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First thing we have to do is go through a movement screen to determine your starting point. It doesn't matter wether you are a collegiate or professional athlete or a stay at home mom, we need to assess your capabilities to ensure you are doing the right things, the right way. This assessment makes sure we don't attempt anything that is unsafe and we can determine the correct starting point for each movement pattern.
      • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have bachelor's degree from UMSL as well as several training and nutrition coaching certifications including: -NASM Certified Personal Trainer -IYCA High School CSCS -IYCA Youth Nutrition Specialist -Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach -Eat to Perform Level 1 and 2 Nutrition Coach In addition to my formal education and certification, I have been in the industry both as a client/trainee and coach for over 20 years, and I have had the opportunity to learn from some of the best minds in strength and conditioning during my time as a professional baseball player with the Florida/Miami Marlins.
