FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fees on criminal cases are billed at a flat rate. This means you will know the total owed at the time you hire me. Generally the fee is paid by a down payment and payment plans. It is impossible to know an exact fee without knowing specifics of the charges. At the very least, a phone conversation must be held to determine costs. Discounts on legal fees are made when a client refers new business to my law firm.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I find it necessary to meet with all potential clients in person. In this meeting, we can discuss the details of the charges, I can answer questions about the process and we can talk about what you would like the outcome of the case to be. I welcome family members to these meetings. This consultation process is provided free of charge.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a law degree from St. Louis University School of Law, which I received in 2003. I began working and training in the field of criminal law as an intern during law school.
