- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My sitting fee is $190 which includes a pre-shoot stying consultation, professional hair and makeup on the day of your photo shoot and the photo shoot. Images are sold separately at your Image Reveal and start at $275 for 7x10 matted images. My packages start at $1350 for 6 images and go up from there. My top (and most requested package) is $3,300, which includes 20 7x10 matted images in a handmade Italian leather Folio Box to preserve your images for years to come. I will help you choose your favorites and what you love you buy. No hard sell. I want to take the best images you’ve ever seen of yourself and your family so you want them all... but that decision is always in your hands! I have several Folio Packages but can create a custom package that works for you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always start with a consultation to learn what how my client would like to be photographed. I listen first. Once I understand what my client’s needs are I make suggestions to create a dream photo shoot for each client no matter if it’s a business headshot or a full-on Vanity Fair style photo shoot.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My first internship was for French Vogue, doing a cover in Death Valley. After that shoot I started working for several local modeling agencies in Los Angeles. For several years I worked primarily in fashion and editorial as well as fine art. Today, my focus is magazine style portrait for the everyday woman and her family. I create Vanity Fair style portraiture and deliver a beautiful handmade custom product. I know what “beautiful” looks like and can find it every person I work with.
