FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
While I believe in complete transparency about fees and value, it's often difficult at best to know what process and structure will best serve you without talking about your goals and challenges. There are a lot of possibilities and variables in customizing your coaching plan. You might reach your goals more easily with a deep dive intensive, or with a series of sessions. You might need support between sessions or you might not. You might be looking to do inner work and personal development or you might be looking to develop a business plan or career success plan as well. We might be designing a mindfulness/spiritual practice or we might not. With that many variables it would not be fair for me to have a "one size fits most" approach to quoting fees. If I don't feel that I can fairly offer a quote from the information shared in your initial request I will suggest a short phone conversation for us to discover how, and if, it is best for us to work together. We'll decide then on how I can serve you and I'll give you a quote for the fees involved then. Of course, there is no cost or obligation for that call and we can engage in our work together with a clear map of what will be provided and what the investment will be.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first priority is to establish your objectives in working with a professional. Then we can design your coaching structure to meet those objectives. I customize my approach and the structure and modalities involved to meet your personal style, preferences, and goals. We might engage in some sessions via remote connections such as phone or video conferencing, but my studio in the Central West End is an ideal setting for creativity coaching, strategic development, or mindfulness practices. The coaching program we design for you might include any combination of the following: Business/Entrepreneur Coaching (getting goals for your business and designing a strategy for meeting those goals.) Career Coaching (setting goals and designing a plan to step into the work and roles you desire to have.) Leadership Coaching (developing characteristics and skills that are effective and recognized as leadership qualities.) Personal Perspective/Mindset Coaching (Uncovering the barriers - I call them "brick walls" - you have accepted that have, or could, prevent you from doing what you want to do and having what you want to have.) Mindfulness/Meditation Practice (Designing a practice that brings you into a more powerful and more joyful mental/emotional/spiritual state.) Spiritual Coaching/Soul Connection (Developing and deepening your connection to your own soul and the energy of the Universe. Learning to communicate with your own soul.) Writing/Content Creation, Publication, and Promotion (Turning your experience and expertise into marketable content in the form of articles or books and getting it published and promoted.) We will design your program from these components and establish the frequency of sessions, level of support, and preferred connection (in person or remote) before your first session but it is understood that your needs may shift as you progress and yoru program will shift accordingly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began managing and growing small businesses nearly 30 years ago. In 1994 I was offered an opportunity with a nationwide consulting firm as a business analyst and management consultant. After 4 years under contract there I started my own consulting/coaching practice and haven't looked back. In that time I have worked with 100's of businesses and touched the lives and careers of 1000's of business leaders and entrepreneurs as a consultant, coach, trainer, and speaker. Of course I have also taken 100's of hours of continuing education and invested 1000's of dollars in hiring coaches, consultants, and mentors for myself and my own business. I have presented on stages large and small, and had the honor of sharing events with some of my heroes such as Zig Zigler, Bob Burg, John David Mann, Sally Hogshead, Mark Sanborn, and Southwest Airlines President Emerita, Coleen Barrett. I have authored two books and been featured in several more, my articles have been published in Entrepreneur.com, Forbes.com, and The Muse among others. I have also served as an Executive Editor on the Business Team of The Good Men Project. I have also completed several projects as a ghostwriter, including a recently completed novel-length autobiography with the CEO of Paraco Gas, Joe Armentano. I am a Certified Soul Language Practitioner and work with individuals to connect to the energies of their own souls as well as the soul energy of their business and their partnerships. I'm blessed in that what I do perfectly coincides with who I am and the clients and serve and the outcomes they achieve really light my fire in every way!
