Introduction: I am a professional teacher with a degree in music education. I have over 25 years of experience teaching privately and in the public schools. I love to discover each student's unique learning profile and help him/her discover a pathway to becoming a successful musician. By doing this, learning music becomes both fun and rewarding for my students. I enjoy working with students of all ages and abilities. My daughters have studied with Accent Music Academy and Sharon for a number of years. They love their lessons and they love her. She is always positive and supportive and encouraging. Even if the girls show up unprepared (what, they didn't practice?) she never is negative or discouraging. Highly recommend her as a teacher!

Sharon is an outstanding teacher. I take my two grandchildren to her for piano lessons and they love to go. They learn differently and Sharon teaches them the way they learn best and picks music that they enjoy as well as being challenging. When one has to miss a lesson the other always wants to have that time tacked onto her lesson . I could not be more pleased.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $23.00 per half hour lesson. Clients may pay the tuition for lessons monthly, or by semester. There are 36 lessons during the school year, so an average of 4 lessons per month or $92.00. There are 18 lessons per semester, or $414.00. I also offer summer lessons and schedule them weekly.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with my perspective clients to talk about expectations, begin to develop a relationship to ensure we are a good fit.
