Introduction: My fitness philosophy is that exercise should be fun, effective, and bring balance to your life. My professional experience in mentoring and coaching goes back to 2003 with work in non-profits and schools. I started Total Balance Fitness in 2010 to help busy people maximize their potential and create a sustainable healthy lifestyle. My personal training career has brought me so much satisfaction as I love watching my clients get stronger and celebrate their successes.

Amanda is a phenomenal trainer. I have been working with her for the past few years, at times more intensely (up to 3 times per week) or as infrequently as once a week for maintenance. She motivates and pushes me, but she is also very tuned-in to any injury or pain I might be having and offers up modifications to reduce the chance of further injury. Right now I'm 8-months pregnant and still work out with her. She's very knowledgable about safe exercises and can gear our sessions to help with any hip or sciatica pain I might be experiencing. I love how she combines Yoga, HIIT, and circuit training so that each workout feels different and challenging. Can't recommend her enough!

I have worked with Amanda for over five years. She's amazingly knowledgeable and a great motivator. She's especially talented in finding the right exercises that treat the nagging injuries that would otherwise slow down my fitness program. I highly recommend her!

Working with Amanda and Total Balance Fitness was a life-changer for me! After participating in one of her fitness challenges I went from frozen pizzas to veggies, from errand running madness to walking everyday! She had simple, unique ways to get me excited about personal fitness and her no-nonsense motivation was a great fit for me! Train with her if you want to see results! I am so glad I did!

Amanda is a trainer who combines a motivating, upbeat spirit with a personal, dedicated investment in each individual client. I appreciate how carefully she listens, and how much effort she expends on designing workouts and routines that are tailored to my needs (whether cardio, muscle building, balance work, or corrective exercises for posture and flexibility). She's pushed me to go outside my comfort zone, and work harder than I ever have before, but always with a positive, supportive attitude. I can't say enough good things about her, and how much stronger, healthier, and "balanced" I feel thanks to Total Balance Fitness.
